COLOMBO (News 1st); State Minister Dilum Amunugama says that the situation with regard to the prices of commodities will be regulated by April 2022.
Speaking to media yesterday (17), the State Minister said that the existing issue with commodity prices is a result of the COVID-19 situation, and is a worldwide issue.
State Minister Amunugama further emphasized that if control prices are implemented, that it would affect the stocks of the relevant goods in the market.
Adding that the Finance Minister highlighted the ways of gaining revenue for the Government and the ways in which the price fluctuations can be managed, State Minister Amunugama said that the situation will dispel by April 2022.
