COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Education Ministry announced that schools will re-open for Grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 from Monday (22).
On Monday (15), Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said classes that did not re-commence following the lockdown being lifted, will commence soon.
Accordingly, grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 of all government and government approved private schools will commence academic activities from Monday (22), said the Education Ministry following a meeting between Education Secretary (Professor) Kapila Perera and officials.
