Exams to be based only on important sections of syllabus: NIE

COLOMBO (News 1st);  The National Institute of Education has decided to conduct the Scholarship, O/L and A/L examinations, based only on the important sections of the relevant syllabi.

Director-General of the National Institute of Education Dr. Sunil Jayantha says students will be taught these sections of the syllabus from this month until March 2022.

This decision has been arrived in view of the students' academic activities being disrupted for the past 2 years, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
