Cannot reveal Govt. tax policy: Finance Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st); If the Government's tax policy is revealed, some may attempt to take advantage of it, says Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa. Speaking at a press conference about the Budget for the year 2022, which was tabled in Parliament yesterday (12), The Finance Minister stated that some parties may attempt to take advantage of the Government tax policy if it is publicized, and pointed out that taxes for essential commodities will not be levied.
