Practical examinations of 2020 O/Ls in December

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations says that the practical examinations related to the aesthetic subjects of the 2020 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination will commence on 01st December. Accordingly, the practical examinations will be conducted until 11 December, the Department stated. Meanwhile, the deadline for applications for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination has been extended until 20th November, from the previous deadline of today (10). The Department stated that this step was taken due to the request made by a large number of students who have not been granted university entrance after the announcement of University cut off marks to sit for the GCE Advanced Level Examination again. Accordingly, those who are willing to do the examination have been instructed to visit the official websites of the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka - www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic, or to visit via the official mobile application of the Department “DoE” and to submit their applications according to the instructions given. Moreover, the students of Government schools have been instructed to apply for the above examination using their usernames and passwords already given to the principals of the relevant schools. Additionally, private applicants have been requested to personally complete the application form online as per the relevant instructions, and to keep the physical copy with them safely for later submission.
