COLOMBO (News 1st); One person had died after an earth embankment collapsed onto a house in Wennoruwa, Narammala on Tuesday (9).

Sri Lanka Police said the deceased was a 23-year-old female, who was employed at a private hospital in Colombo.

Sri Lanka Police said her mother and brother, survived the tragedy and it was reported that the earth embankment collapsed on to her bedroom while she as asleep during the early hours on Tuesday (9).
