I don't consult intelligence Chiefs to operate : Sajith

COLOMBO (News 1st); Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa says that he does not have the habit of Governing according to the advice of intelligence chiefs.

Speaking to the media after visiting His Eminence the Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the Opposition Leader also said that various conspirators have been launching mudslinging campaigns and conspiracies in the aftermath of the Easter attacks, against him.

Premadasa said that he did take immediate action to rebuild the churches where the Easter attack had taken place and that the masterminds behind the attack should be immediately investigated, arrested, and severely punished.

He alleged that the Government is carrying out various conspiracies instead of doing so.

Moreover, the Leader of the Opposition said that he and intelligence chiefs had no connection whatsoever and that he was not in the habit of accepting their advice and governing.
