COLOMBO (News 1st); The Bar Association of Sri Lanka states that no useful purpose would be served by the Presidential Task Force for One Country, One Law.

The BASL said that the Task Force would usurp the functions of many institutions established under the Constitution and the law, including Parliament and the Ministry of Justice.
