Harin ready to give up parliamentary seat for Ranjan

COLOMBO (News 1st); Opposition MP Harin Fernando on Monday (1) said that he is prepared to sacrifice his National List seat in Parliament for Ranjan Ramanayake.

Fernando had repeatedly called on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to pardon Ramanayake, who is currently serving time for contempt of court.

"Ranjan Ramanayake is a person who must be in parliament," said the MP.

He also challenged to contest against Basil Rajapaksa and Shasheendra Rajapaksa for the top post for the Gampaha District.
