Srilankan Airlines recommences flights to Paris after six years

COLOMBO (News 1st); Srilankan Airlines, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka successfully commenced its flights to the French capital, Paris today (31) after a lapse of six years. Accordingly, Srilankan airlines’ new service will operate scheduled flights between Colombo‛s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and France‛s Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) non-stop flights to France every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday using a fleet of Airbus A330-300 aircrafts. The inaugural flight from Colombo to Paris left Colombo yesterday (30) and arrived here in Paris on 31st morning at 7.30 am. Upon Arrival, the Sri Lankan community in Paris together with the Sri Lankan Embassy in France welcomed the Sri Lankan delegation led by the Minister for Tourism and Promotions Prasanna Ranathunga and Chairman Srilankan Airlines Ashok Pathirage.
