COLOMBO (News 1st); The Judicial Service Commission has decided to prepare a program to expedite the clearance of vehicles and other equipment, which have been accumulated as evidence.

As a first step, the Judicial Service Commission has decided to call for an report on the quantities of evidence and information with regard to the evidence, which have been accumulated in all courts in the country and the current status of those cases.

Per a release issued by the Judicial Service Commission, information obtained from all courts in the country should be submitted to the Secretariat of the Judicial Service Commission before the end of November.

Accordingly, large containers of vehicles, bicycles, timber, sand, stones, soil, clay and barrels used to store illegal liquor will likely be cleared in the near future.
