COLOMBO (News 1st); Secretary to the Ministry of Education Professor Kapila Perera says students (Primary Section) will be permitted to attend school in any suitable attire from tomorrow (25).

Prof. Kapila Perera said the decision was taken on behalf of students who could not afford school uniforms and education material after the lockdown period, which lasted for long.

Primary sections of all schools with over 200 students in the island are due to re-open tomorrow, the 25th of October.

The Primary sections of schools with less than 200 students re-opened on 21st October.
