Malaka declares Zaharan not solely responsible - "There are others"

COLOMBO (News 1st); Social Activist Shehan Malaka claims that the 2019 April Attacks were not organized by Zaharan and his group, alone.

"There are people who planned the attacks and directed this group," he said urging that the people need to know who is responsible for the attacks.

At the same time, Social Activist Chirantha Amarasinghe alleged that the Indian Shiv Sena movement, referred to as an Extremist Movement, is attempting to create political instability in the country.

"We demand that Sri Lanka not be considered as part of India as Sri Lanka is a sovereign state," he said.

Amarasinghe and several others emailed their demands to the Indian High Commission following a visit to the premises on Thursday (21) evening.
