100,000 litres of Nano Nitrogen Fertilizer to SL today

COLOMBO (News 1st): A stock of 100,000 litres of Nano Nitrogen Liquid Fertilizer imported from India is being airlifted to Sri Lanka today (Oct. 19), the Ministry of Agriculture said. The stock of fertilizer will be imported aboard a SriLankan Airlines aircraft, Prof. Udith Jayasinghe, the Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture told News 1st. According to Prof. Jayasinghe, the imported stock of Nano Nitrogen Fertilizer will be distributed to identified farmers in the areas where the Maha season has begun. The distribution process is scheduled to begin on the 21st or 22nd of this month, he further noted.
