COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police said that two boys have drowned in the Kahatagahapitiya tank in Dambagalla, Moneragala today (15).

According to the Police, two boys aged 14 years have visited the tank to bathe in it, and have drowned in the tank.

The two have died upon admission to the Gilimadulla Divisional Hospital.

The deceased have been identified as residents of Kolladeniya and Dambagalla.

Dambagalla Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
