Grace period for revenue licences in Sabaragamuwa

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has decided not to levy fines when issuing vehicle revenue licenses. In a statement, the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council said that no fines would be imposed from August 16 to August 29 period owing to the COVID-19 situation. The issuance of vehicle revenue licenses at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Head Office and all Divisional Secretariats in the province commenced on October 1st. Moreover, the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council stated that it has decided not to levy fines as a relief to vehicle service clients due to the current pandemic situation.
