COLOMBO (News 1st); Journalists were not allowed into the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption today morning as the husband of former Deputy Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa, T. Nadesan appeared before the Commission to give a statement.

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption summoned Nadesan after the Pandora papers revealed that  former Deputy Minister Nirupama Rajapaksa and her husband have been alleged to have controlled a shell company, which they used to buy luxury apartments in London and Sydney, and to make investments.

He remained in the commission for about two hours and then left, however officials prevented journalists from filming the incident.
