COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa says that the Secretary of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs is currently engaging in a visit to Sri Lanka to strengthen diplomatic relations. He said this speaking to the media after the Indian Foreign Secretary's visit to Sri Lanka following a program in Hambantota today. The Minister said that Sri Lanka deals with foreign countries in a diplomatic manner, and relations with neighboring countries have developed for ages. He further stated that many people from other countries have come to Sri Lanka and although there are gossip seekers among them, the Indian Foreign Secretary is not in the country for such a reason. “ There are many development proposals made by the Indian Government. He is simply coming to Sri Lanka to monitor this and make it public. There may be gossip-mongers who try to take advantage of this situation. This is not the case. He is coming to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries" Rajapaksa said. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aje3NcWiZO0
