COLOMBO (News 1st): Malaysia has lifted entry restrictions from five countries including Sri Lanka, subject to strict regulations established by the Immigration Department.
Accordingly, passengers from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, can now enter Malaysia to work only, the Director of the Immigration and Emigration Department of Malaysia, Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud says.
Therefore, the following types of travelers from these five countries may seek entry approval to enter the country;
Moreover, foreign workers have been instructed to undergo COVID-19 health screening in their respective countries at least three days before departing, and are also required also attach a temporary work visa that is still valid for re-entry visa or a temporary work pass visa without visa re-entry.
All passengers are also required to be fully vaccinated, to undergo a PCR test upon arrival and be subject to quarantine.
