COLOMBO (News 1st); Japan has lifted the restrictions imposed on all returnees from Six countries including Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, returnees from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka will be allowed entry into the country again.

The entry ban was imposed earlier this year as part of Japan’s COVID-19 curbing measures on all foreign nationals who spent time in the six countries within 14 days prior to their arrival.
