Daily requirement of oxygen reduced to 90 tons

COLOMBO (News 1st): The State Ministry of Production, Supply, and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals says the amount of medical Oxygen provided for COVID-19 patients on a daily basis has reduced to 90 tons.

Secretary to the Ministry, Dr. Saman Rathnayake said the daily requirement of Oxygen in the past few days reached as high as 140 tons.

He said another 22 tons of Oxygen will be brought to Sri Lanka from India within this week.
