COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister Johnston Fernando says the government does not have any cash flow issue.

“We have the money. If not, how are we paying the public sector employees who are at home?” he said.

He said if the government does not have money, it would lead to bankruptcy, however, that is not the case at present.

However, Minister of Power Gamini Lokuge says approximately Rs. 44 Billion is due to the Ceylon Electricity Board.

“We are facing a serious issue because we did not receive the money,” he said.
