Claims on attacks should be taken seriously - Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Archdiocese of Colombo has called on authorities to take the statements issued by Venerable Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero recently, seriously.

"The Venerable Thero had said another attack similar to the Easter Attacks is likely to take place and he has evidence related to these claims," said Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, the Spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Colombo.

He said that if one is serious about National Security, these claims need to be taken seriously and immediate action needs to be taken.

"We are aware the President is to go overseas. The Easter Attacks took place when the Former President was overseas," he said.
