Those who did not receive Rs. 2,000 urged to appeal

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Presidential Task Force on Economic Rehabilitation and Poverty Alleviation says that the program to grant Rs. 2,000 allowance for those who have lost their income is almost complete.

The task force stated that the allowance has been provided to 2.4 million families.

However, the Presidential Task Force urges those who have lost income but have not yet received the Rs. 2,000 allowance to appeal.

The relevant appeals could be submitted to the District Secretaries or the Divisional Secretaries.
