SJB donates vital medical supplies to Kinniya Hospital

COLOMBO (News 1st); Essential hospital equipment worth Rs. 3,030,000/- were donated to the Kinniya Base Hospital as the 24th phase of the ‘Jana Suwaya’ project launched parallel to the ‘Vipakshayen Husmak’ program implemented by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya with the objective of creating a healthy nation.

Two Multipara Monitors, each worth two Rs. 275,000/-, and two Opti flow Nasal Therapy machines, each worth Rs. 1,240,000/-, were handed over by Sajith Premadasa, Leader of the Opposition and Leader of Samagi Jana Balawgaya.

The donations were accepted by Dr. I.M.Jawaheer, Director of the Kinniya Hospital.

'Vipakshayen Husmak' program is implemented by the Parliamentary Group, organizers, members, foreign branches and local & foreign donors of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya with 'Jana Suwaya' Project in order to provide health relief to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya has already donated hospital equipment worth Rs. 68,874,000/- on 23 previous occasions.
