COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP S.B. Dissanayake has stated that he has no salary left to donate to the COVID-19 Fund due to bank loans.

Dissanayake, speaking to the media today (28), stated that he owes around Rs. 30 million to banks, and that he lives on his wife’s salary.

However, despite his difficulties, the SLPP MP said that he hopes to donate some money to the COVID-19 Fund.

He further stated farming is his main source of income, which is very difficult to live with.
