No "proper" response to letter calling for justice - Cardinal

COLOMBO (News 1st); His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the Archbishop of Colombo on Friday (13) said a proper response is yet to be received over a letter addressed to the President seeking justice over the 2019 April Attacks.

On the 13th of July 2021, a letter was addressed to the President seeking a comprehensive investigation into the attacks, he said.

The Archbishop of Colombo said he is yet to receive a response to a request made to the President to release volumes of the report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe the 2019 April 21st Attacks.
