COLOMBO (News1st): A decision was reached to limit the activities of the Postal Department taking into consideration the present surge of COVID-19 cases in the country.

The postal services are provided 06 days a week but now due to the present pandemic situation, services will be limited to only 04 days, Deputy Post Master-General, Rajitha Ranasinghe said.

Accordingly, the days in which the service will be provided will be announced shortly.

Whilst receiving services, strict adherence to the health guidelines must be maintained, the Deputy Post Master General added.
