24-hour Water cut in Wattala today: NWSDB

COLOMBO (News 1st): The water supply to several areas in Wattala will be temporarily suspended for 24-hours starting from 10:00 AM today (Aug. 03), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

Accordingly, the 24-hour water cut will affect a section of the Wattala-Negombo Road, a section of Mabola, Welikadamulla, all bi-roads along the Hendala Road until Nayakakanda Junction, Alwis Town, Maradana Road, Puwakwatta Road, Galagahaduwa and a section of Kerawalapitiya.

The water cut was due to water pipes being laid across the Hendala Bridge and connection to the main pipeline, the Water Board noted.
