COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 2,177 COVID-19 infections on Saturday (31), said the Department of Government Information.

2,150 of these cases were from the Post-Avurudu Cluster while the other 27 were those who tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from overseas.

In addition, the Director General of Health Services on Saturday (31) confirmed 61 COVID-19 related deaths for Friday (30).

The total number of COVID-19 fatalities in Sri Lanka is now at 4,441.
