Harin challenges Sarath Weerasekara for a public discussion

COLOMBO (News1st): Opposition lawmaker Harin Fernando has challenged the public security minister for a discussion on his remarks over the April 21st attacks. "I wish to tell Sarath Weerasekara that I am interested in discussing the statements I made in parliament on the April 21st attacks, on a television channel," Fernando said. He made these remarks after providing a statement at the Criminal Investigations Department for five hours. "The police questioned me for more than 5 hours to waste my time," Fernando claimed. "I wish to challenge him for a discussion on a public platform instead of him utilizing the police to waste my time."
