21-hour Water cut in Colombo on Saturday (10): NWSDB

COLOMBO (News 1st): The water supply to several areas in Colombo will be temporarily suspended for 21-hours starting from 9:00 AM on Saturday (Jul. 10), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said on Thursday (08). Accordingly, the water supply will be interrupted in the areas of Colombo 01, 02, 03, 07, 08, 09, 10, and 11 for 21-hours from 9:00 AM on Saturday (Jul. 10) to 6:00 AM on Sunday (Jul. 11). Water will be supplied under low-pressure conditions to Colombo 04 & 12, the NWSDB noted. The water cut is due to essential improvement work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant.
