COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has decided to open all tourist attractions to overseas visitors who enter Sri Lanka via the Bio-Bubble concept.
Dhammika Wijesinghe, the Director-General of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority speaking to News 1st on Monday (05) said the decision was reached following consultation with the health authorities.
However, the SLTDA will first attempt to ensure that all workers in hotels, tourist sites including parks, guides and other connected to the tourism industry are vaccinated in order to go ahead with the decision.
In addition, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority has decided to waive off the charges in renewing the Tourism Business Licenses.
