Three-wheelers for police stations to fight crime

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lankan government kicked off a program to provide 2000 three-wheelers for police stations located across the island in an effort to strengthen the police transport system and fight crime.

The three-wheelers that will be located at all police stations will be used in crime prevention, investigations, complaint examination, emergency response, and other police activities.
