COLOMBO (News 1st); 2,024 people have died due to COVID-19 since the 15th of April 2021 (03rd Wave), said the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) on Tuesday (22).

In its latest statement on COVID-19 clusters in Sri Lanka, the NOCPCO said 596 people died of COVID-19 during the second wave which was from 04th October 2020 to 14th April 2021.
