COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Health Ministry has decided to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to expectant mothers from Wednesday (09).
In a statement, Dr. Pradeep de Silva, the President of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists said the vaccination will take place under several recommendations and guidelines and will consider the age, illnesses and immunization level of the expectant mothers, for the vaccine.
