COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Air Force said due to the inclement weather currently prevailing in the island, an SLAF Bell 212 Helicopter from the No 4 Helicopter Squadron was deployed on Saturday (05 June 2021) on a reconnaissance mission in order to evaluate the flooding situation which is threatening several districts.

Sri Lanka Air Force Spokesperson Group Captain Dushan Wijesinghe said the areas Mathugama, Baduraliya, Agalawatte and Dodnagoda were observed from the sky.
