COLOMBO (News 1st); The Director-General of Civil Aviation has informed all airlines that passengers with a travel history (including transit) in the past 14 days to countries in South America and South Africa will not be permitted to disembark in Sri Lanka with immediate effect.

The already imposed bans for incomings passengers with a travel history (including transit) to India and Vietnam in the past 14 days will continue to be in force.
