Retailers and mobile vendors can proceed to economic centers on Saturday (29) night.

COLOMBO (News 1st); Retailers and mobile vendors travelling to economic centers are permitted to proceed to economic centers from Saturday (29) night.

Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said all police stations have been informed to facilitate the movement of such vehicles.

DIG Ajith Rohana further reiterated that personnel attached to essential service MUST possess a document calling them to work, issued by the head of the organization, in addition to the world Identification card.

On Friday (28), the government announced that Economic Centers across the country will open for retailers and mobile vendors to make bulk purchases on 30th and 31st of May.
