Prime Minister gives assurance on Port City Commission composition

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa assured the country's parliament that the composition of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission will be represented by a majority of Sri Lankans.

"The Chairman of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission will also be a Sri Lankan," said the Prime Minister.

Mahinda Rajapaksa said the government hopes to secure 75% of the employment opportunities at the Colombo Port City and urged the MPs to support the bills casting aside their differences for the benefit of the country.
