NIC system not applicable for employees from tomorrow

COLOMBO (News1st): The method of leaving homes based on the last digit of the National Identity Card will not apply to employees reporting to work from 4 am tomorrow (Monday), police said. "The NIC system will not apply for travelling to work. But the NIC system will be applicable if you leave your home for any other purpose," police spokesperson Ajith Rohana said. He noted that this regulation will be in effect until the 31st of May.
