Govt. agencies advised to prepare mechanism for essential services

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Presidential Task Force for Economic Revival and Poverty Alleviation has instructed all District & Divisional Secretaries to prepare a mechanism to carry out essential services in the event their areas are isolated or placed in a lockdown.

A statement released by the Department of Government Information said the mechanism should also include a process of distributing essential items to locals in the said areas.
