Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center re-opens

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center which was temporarily closed on 26th April given the spread of COVID-19, resumed operations on Wednesday (May 05). The Economic Centre will be open till 7:00 PM today (05), Shantha Ekanayake, the Chairman of the Traders Association of the Dambulla Special Economic Center told News 1st. According to Ekanayake, a decision was reached ONLY to purchase vegetables from the farmers of Matale both today and tomorrow (06).
