Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka’s Yevan David maked history for the island nation when he won Round 1 of the “2021 Champions of the Future Karting Race” in Genk, Belgium.

Yevan David was among the top 10 karters from the start of the race and eventually made it to 03rd at the half way mark of the 10-lap race.

The 13-year-old continue to add pressure on leaders from lap 07 and took the race away from them in the final lap

He becomes the first ever Sri Lankan to win an event in Karting in the international arena.
