COLOMBO (News 1st): The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered starting from Wednesday (Apr. 28), the State Ministry of Production, Supply, and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals said.
“The second dose of the COVID-19 jab will first be administered on frontline healthcare workers, in the order the jab was given in the 1st phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive,” Prof. Channa Jayasumana, the State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals told News 1st on Tuesday (Apr. 27).
According to Prof. Jayasumana, frontline healthcare workers and personnel of the Tri-Forces combating the pandemic will receive the second dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca Vaccine.
