COVID GUIDELINES: Weddings limited to 150 guests & no tuition classes allowed

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's State Ministry​ of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID Disease Control has permitted only 150 guests for a wedding until the 31st of May 2021 in its latest guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Funerals excluding COVID-19 deaths can only take place with a maximum of 25 persons at any given time. Day Care Centers, Pre-Schools and Schools should only accommodate 50% of the capacity, the guidelines noted. Tuition classes will not be allowed until the 31st of May 2021.
