Negligence cause for Wednesday's (14) expressway accidents

Colombo (News 1st); Negligence was the main cause for the 12 accidents that took place on the Southern Expressway on Wednesday (14), said Sri Lanka Police.

"It is important to always keep your eyes on the road ahead of you when driving, especially on the expressway," warned DIG Ajith Rohana, the Police Spokesperson. It is also important for drivers to ensure they maintain considerable distance between vehicles, given the 100 kmph speed limit on the expressway, he added.
