Colombo (News 1st); There will be disruptions to the supply of water due to the present dry weather experienced across Sri Lanka, warned the National Water Supply and Drainage Board.
Water levels at catchment areas have started to decline, said the National Water Supply and Drainage Board on Thursday (15).
“During the April festive season water consumption was at a high,” it added while urging the general public to use pipe-borne water for essential requirements to assist in the supply of water to areas facing issues in access to drinking water.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board requested the general public to call 1939 for any issue related to the supply of water.
