New Year School Holidays begin today (09): Education Ministry

COLOMBO (News 1st): The New Year holidays for all government schools will begin today (Apr. 09), the Ministry of Education said. The academic activities at schools will resume again on the 19th of April. Thereafter, schools will remain open till the August holidays. Following the New Year holidays, academic activities will resume under strict adherence to COVID-19 health regulations and students will attend classes batch-wise, the Education Ministry further noted.
