Father & two teenage sons killed in collision with tipper truck on A9

Colombo (News 1st); 13 people died following motor accident in the last 24 hours, said Sri Lanka Police.

DIG Ajith Rohana, the Police Spokesprson said 08 of these deaths were caused by accidents on Friday (26) while the other 05 deaths were caused by accidents reported earlier in the week. 03 people died on Friday (26) along the A9 Road in the Palai Police area following a collision between a car and a tipper truck. The victims were a 38-year-old male and his two teenage sons. Sri Lanka Police launched a manhunt to locate and arrest the driver of the tipper truck responsible for the accident.
